I used to race n trail a V8 Series One 80 " Land Rover with the Southern Rover Owners Club years ago. I've also rebuilt a spare 109" chassis then replaced it under a Series2/3 Station Wagon another of my V8 conversion, so I understand my Meccano Kit statement fully.....you think ,,,, ??
the floor boards will be seized , the sills beside the seat box will be rotten , and the bolts on the edge of the wings will snap off , as they usually do ,,, when it needs dumb irons doing the bumper wont screw off easily , if at all especially with a bent farm bull bar . the rad pack bolts will be solid too ,,, and with it being the drivers side footwell you have the pedals to avoid too.. In theory they are meccano , in real life needing rust repairs and coming off the farm I find them more like Airfix ,,, stuck solid.

Also owned an 86" Series One, and a 110 HT V8....
