And the cockatiel?

Those live outside the shop, they arrived as birthday present for my mom after our 17 years old dog (half breed pinscher) death.
They spend the day in the yard breathing open fresh air, and we take them inside home during the night.
We eventually got a lovely Prague ratter, well my sister bought it and we fell in love with it, just imagine to have a 3 pound doberman but extremely cuddly and really intelligent little dog.
Its always nearby us, it lives freely at home and it's very educated.
I love it, I didn't want it because I was still crying the previous one but I eventually couldn't resist him.
Little bast@#* arrived that was only a month old puppy

I had to bend 2 new heel board brackets as I hadn’t accounted for the width of the V block in the brake.

Lots of 30mm box and welding later and I have a body shell trolley.

Beta broken studs extractors set, cheap Amazon M3-4-5-6-8-10-12 spiral fluted taps, red box is 3/8BSW dormer tap

I do not trust any make of those forms of stud extractors not to make an already crap job 100 times worse . . . place them somewhere safe now, so safe you forget you have them

Well let's say that those ones apparently work.
They have a 5 flute spiral design not the usual thread type that usually end up snapping.
Problem with those types of extractors is that people don't know how to use them.
Seized studs equals drilling them out
Over tightened one you can try them out
Broken fitting they'll 99% work
And so on
Essentially if you can spin them little bit with a chisel you can save a lot of time using them
Otherwise try something else

Thanks! It’s more stable than trying to move them around on a pallet and it saves the floor getting scratched once it’s all painted.


This one’s getting Cooper-ised so I got the boot board brackets welded in yesterday.

Sliding gate has been tacked up but too windy to properly do anything and no way I’m getting a 4x2 gate frame in my garage and being able to work round it.

I did manage to get the side gate made to go along with it though. Just some tidying up to do to it before i prime and paint it.

Weighs probably 100kg though which should make hanging it fun!

ignore the messy bench, i had a minor episode just before the photo for not being able to find the tungsten i had just sharpened. wooden handle is just a dummy to aid assembly.

there are 3 more identical, mounts left to do monday but they are simple. still need a bit of fettling to get them right in places but for the most part they are how my father wants them to look, hand made and heavy duty. will house some flickering LED bulbs in a frosted tube for a fairly authentic effect.

will post another pic when painted and installed.

for scale they are 140mm diameter, 250 from tips to bottom of the mount spikes

Then some drills, one of them didn't come from @8ob but a Scot friend of mine. See if you can work out which one...
