They got back to me quickly, and they dont make buns.
The dirty krauts stole the name and beat them in court, so nothing they can do about it. Seems they often get complaints phoning up!
Next time, if I go back to Aldi, I shall ask for a complaint form telling them to change the name of their own brand. Its all shiet anyway, compared to a proper bakery bun or cakes.

A second hand Skoda.
Not the car, but a revolving centre in its original box. Looks and feel in good nick.
I took it apart. No grease in it but oil. Cleaned it and filled it with EP2 Lithium grease as that bit of paper states.
Nice bit of kit. Three bearings and adjustable preload.

The bit I've been looking forward to, a TOS 125mm 3 jaw chuck courtesy of Pete.
But also, while on site earlier rigfed in the middle of a street i got talking to an old boy after spotting his little mill in his garage, chatting about this and that and told him I was planning on making a few bits with the lathe...as I'm de-rigging the crane he came out with a 75mm length of 60mm dia en8 (he thinks) bar...off cut from a project he was working on with his grandson making a little trailer for his remote control tractor

been offered a 4 post lift, trouble is its 3 phase, we only have single phase, next door has 3 phase but 150 yards away,
and its a 3 ton one, really wanted a 4 ton to lift the 3.3 ton camper,

I mean there's so many "village bakery" shops even I didn't think it was the right one but Google suggested it as

The big issue is the starting current required to start a single phase motor under load, and is why a lot of ramps will use a lower power motor (and with a slower lift speed) for single phase versions.
Also ramps often use an integrated pump/valve block, so it's not as simple as swapping in a lower power motor and lower capacity pump.
Yes, you could swap in a similar power single phase motor, but then you have the big start up current issue.
Personally, I'd use an oversized VFD to give some extra capacity to allow for the motor starting under load, as although you'll still need a reasonable power supply, the start up surge won't be as high as starting a single phase motor.
That's essentially a static phase converter, which will really struggle to start a motor under load.

Generally I like buns. I saw they didnt look great but how bad could an iced bun be?!? Lesson learned.
If its not much more than a motor, VFD will have no problem running it and soft starting to avoid any high current surge. However I know nothing about lifts.

That’s not actually the bakery that produce stuff for Aldi, though it shares the same name (the Aldi name is just a generic slogan, the “real” village bakery is a proper company, based in Wrexham) - my mates missus is a delivery driver for the bakery you posted, and I am friends with the brother in law of the guy that owns it. (He used to work for our company as a sales engineer, and though we deal with temperature control equipment it was a standing joke that he never managed to sell his brother in law any of our equipment
)

Not compared with a proper bakery bun. Some things are ok, the bread and some of the pastries if they are fresh.

You never know where some of those children have been. As bad as dogs, they are.
