Hopefully have the copper tabs made and it all soldered and working over Easter.

@qwakers ref your Vax want, it's basically as "simple" as me slicing the model above to leave just the bit that goes on the Makita battery and grafting it to something that'll fit the Vax...which I've yet to draw.

Been printing bee hive entrances in PETG, they are 400mm long but can get 2 of them diagonally on the bed of the K2.
So far 8 of the grey winter and 10 of the orange summer ones and only 2 failed prints.
Quite pleased with the quality as its just Sunlu cheapy PETG

It's for the defence sector and I value my freedom

Edit to say I design and build prototype systems that rarely see the light. Nothing exciting really, it's just sat behind an NDA.

You clearly underestimate us, military related 3d printed prototyping is VERY interesting (and I'm very jealous )

I'm guessing you're not using consumer hobby grade printers? especially with bambu that might phone home with the files!

I am using a Bambu Lab P1S but I put the file on a card. It's not connected to the internet.
None of my designs are used in production, they are all prototypes for proof of concept.
Once I have a working prototype I hand it over to the engineering team to make it in sensible materials!
I work from home and have purchased all the equipment I use so no industrial printers unfortunately.
