If you r mc is same model as mine then this image will tell you what the controls are.
Note the "timers" do nothing when "Continous" weld is selected (the one you are most likley to use!)
If you want to do a quick "try out" Then set the Power to 3 or 4. Set the wire feed to about 10 o'clock. Get some 2 mm sheet and give it a go !!
If you find the wire hits the metal sheet pushing the torch away then lower the wire feed down a notch (9 o'clock). If the wire just burns away to quick befor forming on the sheet then up the wire feed a notch (11 o'clock).
Note the above is only a rough guide for starting AND you are/maybe using flux core wire.
