I've helped a mate fit 2 into campers, with a supply from the main tank..
Good value heating,
Good value heating,
A word of caution. These are usually advertised as 8kw. They aren't. 4kw really.
But there is also a smaller variant. You can't really tell until you see them side by side. They only put out 2kw. Sometimes advertised as 5kw.
Yes, it did, it only took a couple of days.Did it actually arrive? I was tempted but fairly certain it wouldn’t!
Mine is only to keep my greenhouse frost free so if it is 2kw I’ll still be happy with it for the price I paid.A word of caution. These are usually advertised as 8kw. They aren't. 4kw really.

I did a comparison video of the differences between the smaller and larger offerings (although, of course, this only helps if what ships matches the pictures on the product page)A word of caution. These are usually advertised as 8kw. They aren't. 4kw really.

Yes that right. Approx 0.5L an hour. We always run them flat out, and on kerosene, so they never soot up.from fizzys reference
A 25L tank lasts about 50 hours.
one has been used at 5000 hrs
I have never had a delivery refused to our IBC. Just make sure the extra cap is screwed on not just the tap closed.since its not mentioned you also need a power supply with these diesel heaters
12v 20 amp model is needed you can also buy these on amazon or ebay as well
best to buy kero in bulk but you would need 2 tanks for this one an ibc tank and another at 1000L tank to get a delivery at cheaper cost
an ibc tank wont pass the kero delivery requirement so expect to be refused if you use one of them for delivery but many do syphon off to an ibc tank or dual connect them
for a full delivery of 1000L of kero you need a bigger tank of a 1000L whilst an ibc tank will cost you 50.00 used
I run 30amp ones - they are Chinese amps. Only needed for the glow plug - drops down to an amp or 2 when running.since its not mentioned you also need a power supply with these diesel heaters

I’ve not had a chance to set it up yet.
0.5l/hr consumption of kerosene equates to about 5500 Watts output. Does that seem right?Yes that right. Approx 0.5L an hour. We always run them flat out, and on kerosene, so they never soot up.
Only had one failure and it turned out to be the controller. Just plugged a spare in and away to go.
Be warned. The controllers used to be all generic but I discovered that is not always the case. Some have a slightly different internal wiring. Plugs the same. But won't fire up if you put the wrong controller on.
Were you running on diesel or kerosene?Do remember that they don’t like being run at lower settings for long periods (fizzy reinforces this with his experience).
My 2kW version didn’t ‘soot up’ - it filled the business end with solid coke! I needed to clear it out by, shall we say, unconventional means. Many would have needed to replace the complete burner assembly.
Maybe too soon for that but yes we can expect to see some serious Chinese bargains soon!Diverted from the US market, can't think why.
