Adding to wall / removing moss

I need to lay another course of blocks and then capping stones to this wall.

Best way to remove / kill moss before laying blocks?

bleach and a stiff broom , if youre feeling spendy get some swimming pool bleach as its way stronger than tescos stuff, moss will just vanish

Thanks. Bleach was one of my possible "solutions". How about some diluted brick acid?

25 litres of hydrochlorite bleach cost me £25 from a farming store. I might have bought slightly too much, I've done all I need to do and having diluted by the recommended amounts I have 24.9 litres left.

yea that works well .once cleaned a complete asbestos roof off with it and a scrubbing brush

Go for it. Painting with SBR and putting the mortar on whilst it, (the SBR) is still wet, would ensure an old / new bond like the proverbial to a blanket.

Yep.... last week has been freezing or ****ing down. Today was the first day of half-decent weather.
