Think @Kayos is the man for such things. But sure there are othersJust resurrecting this thread.
Wondering how many were using batteries and charging up at night?
My electricity bill is out of control. Its over £3k a year (house and workshop) , and ive yet to buy my new, larger compressor. And am spending much more time in the workshop now im semi retired. So that will add to the bill. Id imagine ill easily do over £3500. this year.
Ive got a solar array. But sadly, its on a pallet!
But the bulk of my use is in the winter.
Pondering what to do? Seems like a fair punt over a long period. If electricity prices dropped payback goes to well over a decade.
So any updated thoughts? Anyone done it in a higher use/load scenario like mine?
