That's huge compared to my Bosch, didn't know they spin that fast.Very nice.
I'm repairing a similar drill. Similar as in, big drill with a three speed gearbox, however it's a wet core drill.
I suspect it's had a far harder life that yours and I need to change every bearing in it. There's lots and every one is fighting me.
I'll do a post when I get it back together but I won't be going into the detail you do.
Also, I won't be improving the aesthetics.

Mine have been only neglected but it was mechanically fine, a part of the missing speed selector lever.
It was already quiet before taking it a part with the intention to get the spindle out and solve the grease leakage from the spindle, but ended up leaving it there because I'd need an hydraulic press to do that.
So I've pretty much cleaned it up painted and polished, then I've used modern thicker grease and hopefully it will not leak that much.
It's more dictated by the niche, restoration videos have to be a complete transformation but off course I avoid to repair what's not broken like the bearings which are perfectly fine for example
