If you can , would you let me have a few lumps of the baytree if they are two inches or more thick & over a foot long for my pen turning hobby .

old metal oil drum or paint drum with the bottom cut out, stick it over the stump, fill of wood and coal and keep it burning!
nothing left of the stump in no time!

Right now I'm editing the new restoration video which took really too long but I'm an human being and I've had to deal with a bunch issues so it's a victory already.
Hopefully uploading this night as most of the video has been already edited.

Finally made the non working compressor work ,made a new 15 foot mains lead for it as the one on it was well shot ( bit awkward as there was very little space to use a Philips screw driver to undo the terminals ,this even included using a z style off set Philips .
I made a squarish Delrin washer from square stock partly turned down to 24mm so it still retained some of the squareness so it's really grip able in my occasionally desensitized fingers .
Centrally drilled to 10mm & parted to 11 mm , then gently forced it on the drain down valve insert in the vice using a small socket as the anvil , the original one is 10,5 mm in dia & knurled but very very worn from where PO's have used pliers to undo and tighten it , put a new sealing " O " ring on the valve too as it was copiously seeping air .( why they used the pliers ??)
Went and collected the last connector to make up the compressor lead ..I should have purchased two females' and two male connectors right the start & got them delivered to my home along with the dehumidifier i purchased on Friday instead of faffing about driving to and from the local Screw Fix four times thinking differing types of connectors they had in stock would fit .
Now a fully working 150 psi compressor with 10mtr reinforced heavy rubber hose and an air pistol jet .
An air nailer or a riveter is now on the cards either as a donated repairable one or something from Santa in fishnets

Very nice.
I'm repairing a similar drill. Similar as in, big drill with a three speed gearbox, however it's a wet core drill.
I suspect it's had a far harder life that yours and I need to change every bearing in it. There's lots and every one is fighting me.
I'll do a post when I get it back together but I won't be going into the detail you do.
Also, I won't be improving the aesthetics.

That's huge compared to my Bosch, didn't know they spin that fast.
Mine have been only neglected but it was mechanically fine, a part of the missing speed selector lever.
It was already quiet before taking it a part with the intention to get the spindle out and solve the grease leakage from the spindle, but ended up leaving it there because I'd need an hydraulic press to do that.
So I've pretty much cleaned it up painted and polished, then I've used modern thicker grease and hopefully it will not leak that much.
It's more dictated by the niche, restoration videos have to be a complete transformation but off course I avoid to repair what's not broken like the bearings which are perfectly fine for example

They were surely filled with oil or liquid grease. I don't know bit I will find out and report back.
