Not an Ecoboom?Against everything my head is telling me, but I'm stripping the heap of rubbish Ford call an engine tomorrow afternoon...
It was this ar a feeble Riobi...
No, Transit 2.2, injector taken a piston out, runaway on its own oil (which I promptly killed with the brake so it hasn't overrevved). Not an Ecoboom?
You will learn a very great deal from ' Tuning For Speed ', if you make it your business to do so...Yes it is, only just flicked through it. Too busy cutting hedges.![]()
Still got my copy , 2nd edition 1949, by"Slide Rule" of the Motor Cycling Also known as P.E.Irving A.M.I.M.E. M.S.A.E. Int. A.M.I.P.E.I remember reading tuning for speed in college! Phil Irving was it not?
There's been a little voice in my head for ages telling me I need an Ugga Dugga gun. All I have atm is an impact screwdriver (which is brilliant, but of course can't hack wheelnuts etc).Against everything my head is telling me, but I'm stripping the heap of rubbish Ford call an engine tomorrow afternoon...

No idea which one to get, & which ones are any good for the money though (& while I know of stuff like Milwaukee Fuel etc, I cannot run to that sort of money or have enough work to justify one.... but if I got one I'd want it to have enough spuds for my van wheelnuts & ideally the occasional horrible job that might occur like say a crank pulley bolt.
It'd be interesting to find out how you rate that Sealey. (I'm off to see how much the things are now!)
I'm aware of their strong reputation - but they are a lot of money for my occasional personal use.I use these, I have several - Milwaukee only for cordless impacts they are the best bar none.
Easy to get parts for and repair yourself too I have had issues with bearings in the past after years of hard use and repaired them myself.

If I was earning money with them daily - I'd have a different view.

Fuel tools are never worth to repair
The motor is sold as a single unit
You have to buy the complete stator and rotor ,wirings , switch PCB and battery interface all as one single component .
Your tool is 300 brand new? You easily have to pay 230 if one of the upmentioned components fails .
So not worth fixing.
Great tools off course but never worth to repair .
At least cordless tools
