I've searched the net, but can't find a guide on how to hold awkward shapes in a hydraulic press. The current job is removing and then refitting bushes on a stub axle for our MG MIdget. As you can see in the pic, the axle isn't perfectly aligned with the piston ( :-) ). Can anyone post a link if they know a good source of advice on the net? And more short-term, what should we be looking to do with the axle to get it held securely and at the right angle? (We've never used the press before, so you know to start at the beginning!)
