I'm sure you know, but remember to register it and get the one year warranty upgraded to three years for free, apparently a lot of people don't bother.
I've got that large 1 1/2" drive impact wrench on the cart (that I posted pix of) for sale....A scaffy bar took the nuts off the wheel I needed to weld behind, But still getting the ugger dugger machine![]()
Have I told you of my next design ?I think 1/2" should be big enough
I tweaked my back dragging the scaffy bar out from behind the barn, it was covered in all sorts of junk. Nothing serious I hope, probably needs treating with Sunday lunch washed down with cold beer so off the pub. I didn't get the welding done but completed the stock fencing. Just need to raise the barrier on the fence around the specimen trees that the missus planted as the neighbour's cows will pollard them in seconds. That's Tuesday's job.
What could possibly go wrong?Have I told you of my next design ?
You know how well a Hilti gun works with just a 22short cartridge, I'm thinking of a 12 ga
shot gun post pounder.....Just one shell needed per post....
Get that fence up in no time with little strain.....

Like hitting a large rock 3" under the surface......What could possibly go wrong?

The best thing about the one key bit is if you tell the app the tool has been stolen the next time the tool comes in Bluetooth range of someone else with the Milwaukee app it shuts the tool down for good. It's massive! I compared it with the dinky right angle drive I got the other day. I can confirm that it takes the nuts off as if they weren't even there, no more breaker and scaffie bars for me

I'm going to check the one-key bit out, I believe I can set one of the 4 programmes to the torque the wheelnuts should be.
Probably not relevant but just in case… I had a similar incident with my mid torque, couldn’t figure out it let me down on what turned out to be not massively torqued up fixings, in the end I clocked the adaptor/extension I was using had a bit of play and this was sapping the power right out of it. Tried since with a decent socket directly attached and it thunders through the same fixings.I've a high torque Milwaukee, it shifts most things, it did fail to remove a wheel on the daughter's car stuck in a pub car park, I didn't even dream it wouldn't, it's removed front hub nuts on old landies and rusted up crap but it didn't so much as budge one wheel nut.
I was very miffed, had to return for breaker bar and scaffold pole.
I think it's the universe telling me I need the inch drive one.
Nope, good impact socket, it had been put on by a windy gun and still took a bit of force with a 3ft breaker bar with 4ft of scaffold half way down it, I've snapped cheap breaker bars before, I've a 6ft inch drive one from my uncle who used to run busses if it gets really sillyProbably not relevant but just in case… I had a similar incident with my mid torque, couldn’t figure out it let me down on what turned out to be not massively torqued up fixings, in the end I clocked the adaptor/extension I was using had a bit of play and this was sapping the power right out of it. I’ve snapped a brand new Snap On 1/2” breaker bar , so new the van was still in the car park. The nut I was trying to undo wasn’t particularly tight either.I've snapped cheap breaker bars before,
Mine have been cheap probably Chinese ones from Halfords, was nightmare trying to get a refund.I’ve snapped a brand new Snap On 1/2” breaker bar , so new the van was still in the car park. The nut I was trying to undo wasn’t particularly tight either.
