What?! efix did a gaztube on it and it didn't look that bad at all, I'm quite looking forward to it, no more sleeve falling off!no and im not going to it will be a pig to strip havent got all day to strip stacks of cable
the not much cop in socket and switch boxes removing the outer core right back to the grommet . only any good on loose cables just use side cuttersI already use mechanical cable strippers, I find myself going for them more and more over side cutters or a knife!
I think it was the 15th as that's what I came out my time with and I remember bonding radiators and Crittle window frames. There was an edition of the wiring regs, can’t remember if it was 15th or early 16th when people went mental with the supplementary bonding and basically anything metal they could lay their hands on ended up with a green and yellow cable clamped to it regardless.
Radiators, worktops, window frames, the cutlery in the drawers.
I have never owned this tool and it to would be fair to say I'm a bit of a tool geeky or at least like to be able to buy more if I could.I use these,

I can get to within the depth of the jaw in most cases, about 10mm, that's close enough for most outlets these days with 35mm boxes for most outlets.
I really rate them, I am a convert from a good old cable knife, that's how I was shown as an apprentice. Never moved to the yank the cpc crew,
These I have had a fair while now, still sharp and effortless on T&E, flex, data, even HO5-7 up to about 1.0mm 3core.
It's fair to say I'm a convert!!
i use the ck strippers on wiring recessed lights with loose cables only 1.0mm cable there fast and ideal. handy for making flex of as well but thats about allThey are an excellent tool, I didn't pay that much for them, I got them from the ELEX show at Coventry, think they were around £39 ish.
I tried them out and was converted!
I have a set of these too,
