Some eejit left my Bluetooth earbuds in the pocket of my jeans and put them through the wash. 
Overnight in a bowl of rice brought the case and one bud back to life, but the other refused to connect. Cracked it open and it's wet inside, so a rinse under the tap in case there's any detergent left in there, and into the rice for an hour or so. Reassemble and remarkably, it's alive.

An oft used cupboard (the crisp cupboard) door needed sorting. The top hinge screws had pulled out of the chipboard.
Drilled the holes to 8mm and glued in some dowels:

Won't they still screw into chipboard ultimately?
These wooden dowels are much stronger.
Yes indeed - but I believe the "repairing plates" are attached to the chipboard with 4 screws though.

50p later.
Fettling in a new peace of wood. The plan was to see if my home made wood dye would be any good.
Not bad, just trimming to fit.
A nice job in between others.

Pulled from a skip, nowt moved on it.
It took an hour just to get it open.
Drowning it in de greaser.
You can see the black solid stuff, it was a pain to remove, do not force theses old machines, as things will break.
Getting there.
When the parts are free and moving you can start to set the machine up.
Cleaned and a bit of lubrication.
The paint was long gone, due to the rust, here I am just rubbing in bee's wax.
All working and ready to go.

A picnic bench up the pub. Some foaming Gorilla and 5x90 A2 screws. A bit long so the pointy ends zinged off with the 18V Fakita where they poked through.

Evap canister blocked or purge valve similar. So went and changed both this afternoon. Found boot full of water while playing find the locking nut tool. it was drilled after i got the wheel off with the aid of the big rubber mallet, cleaned and copper slipped, it was tight in there but no codes after a reset and run out

We've all been there.
Might not have needed them if the house has them in the consumer unit?
I find a choccy-block connector about a foot down the cable saves time . . . jams the blades before severing everything
