On the booking form we have to click what we are tipping, … in theory! Just black bag, timber, scrap or garden rubbish, but no-one checks, I don’t think the tip jockey’s know what you’ve ticked anyway.In theory it should work a lot better....but we have to list all items at the point of pre booking.

Trust me - I live I the County where the scourge of the Scamera is at pandemic proportions. The thieving highway robbers are everywhere.
It's classed N1, so despite being a Fiesta car minus 2 windows and rear seats - it's classified as a van.
50mph A roads, & 60mph dual carriageways.
Ah well, I'll get good mpg (these wee things are supposed to better 60mpg - when new anyway - which would be nice!)
They are on minimum wage. The motivation & interest/enthusiasm you see at our local centre is.... absent. You could probably dump nuclear waste tbh
This is "car-derived" too - but I think things have changed. I think if you check your vehicle on .GOV you need a categorisation with prefix "M" to be a "car". Utterly crazy when a 2-tonne Isuzu pickup with 1 tonne on the bed can steam along at 70mph (or indeed 90+ with a 3500kg loaded trailer
).As usual the bureaucrats haven't a clue about the real world.

Gave up with my Punto and bought the last 2 bits that can be the cause.
Throttle body ,used from eBay.
Map sensor, New from Amazon.
If even this doesn't work I've officially done everything I could do to save it.
And it would be a shame after

Cam position sensor
Lambda sensors
New gaskets
Clutch
Clutch pumps
Fuel pump which I've discovered it's constantly on and dumps fuel into the tank through an internal pressure regulator.
ECU
Pump relay
Engine mounts
What's left injectors maybe ? Well those would be the last one but I didn't check them I don't think they are the cause because the odb says fuel trim fault which is the throttle body in my car .
The engine starts, runs at 500 RPM and dies when I touch the throttle.
But if I remove the power connector to the fuel pump it revs up to idle , and I can get it up to 1500 rpm and connect the pump again .
After that the car runs great, even though it's undriveable do to the fact it's impossible not to release the throttle and doing that it dies .
Way too much fuel , and it spits flames out of the exhaust while revving from 1000 up to 2000 rpm

Wild guess - but is there some sort of fuel pressure regulator or similar in the injection system?
Seems weird to be massively over-fuelling.
Other thing is could the used throttle body be as bad as your original?
(I had a weird misfire and hunting on an old Yaris. Everyone said throttle body - but it proved to be a tiny crack in one if the small air hoses off the t-body. A 2-min fix (once I'd found it)

Pressure regulator is built in into the pump, basically a mechanical overpressure valve which dumps pressure directly into the tank prior to reach the fuel line which is only one no return to the tank , just a vapour line from the intake manifold but no gasoline passes through it also because if so, the manifold would be filled with almost 5 litres of fuel.
All the vacuum lines are new and would cause the opposite problem cause it would enter air into the engine.
My car has a throttle valve mechanically connected to the pedal and an additional valve driven by a step motor for idle regulation.
Things are 3
Option number 1 throttle position sensor says to the ECU it's open so this one commands injector to stay open more time than needed causing engine flooding
Option number 2 step motor is stuck in the close position so no additional air is allowed to enter the engine and once I touch the throttle even more fuel is dumped into the engine.
Option number 3 one or more injectors don't close completely so fuel passes even when not needed and this can be easily checked by removing the rail and just turning the key , without attempting to start the engine but it's raining a lot those days and I didn't check.

On the wife's original 206 the OBD could only narrow it down to a pair of injectors because I think of the wasted spark system. I replaced all four injectors with brand new Magneti Marelli. The problem reoccurred / remained. One of the new injectors was faulty!
Fixed that and it was running a treat, then she had the accident that wrote the car off.
New 206, 8 years younger. Developed an injector fault!
Bought 4 new. Sadly I couldn't use the ones from the old car.oldbikedavey

I've noticed that if I start the car wide open throttle it will start but sometimes not .
I've bought a new used throttle body I think it's the cause of all the problems.
It both controls how much fuel it dumps in , how much air it dumps in , and the idle speed.
Lambda surely tell the ECU a very rich AFR but she understands that the O2 sensors are failing, but they are new .
ECU runs a safe map when those kind of errors occurs generally, with a richer afr, and not so much ingnition timing advance .
My car as a knock sensor Deep down under the intake manifold.
This can be the cause too .

Part two of the AliExpress cheapie dro for the lathe, I'll swap one of the mill reader heads (or a quick and dirty bodge install to test) over with this tomorrow and see how it operates. Then decide whether to buy another read head and some more magnetic tape or a glass scale for the bed
