Work get the Swann Morton ones from RS / Farnell. Or does that fail the 'sensibly priced' bit?

The Swann morton ones work out about 15p each. Other quality brands are similar..
If you are getting through so many of them that 15p each is an issue you are using the wrong tool for the job.
Cheaper ones are available but the quality control is lacking. Most of them are fine but when you pull one out that is miss-stamped and won't fit the handle or has a burr on the edge the 5p saved is never worth the aggravation.
I get that for hobby use you might not be bothered by the time taken to chuck away a duff one and just fit another.
I also get that you might not want to buy 100 at once. If anybody wants a selection of a few each in different shapes let me know and I'll see if it's worth doing some 'sets' up

We get through a lot of them at work, main use is cutting tracks on prototype PCBs, or fabricating simple ones from scratch with bits of copper tape. Copper is fairly soft and no problem, but the fibreglass dulls them very quickly.
At home I rarely need anything that precise but I was surprised even Stanley knife blades have disappeared from a lot of online sellers, I get them from Screwfix now.
Where are you getting this info from?
I use traditional double edged razor blades. Should I place a large order now?

Most sellers are already ignoring the current rules on posting blades so I can't see they will stop sending them out.
Maybe they will start using the foil bags to stop the xray machines picking them up but they don't seem to do anything about enforcement of the existing rule breaches...
As it stands at the moment, I think both the seller and the delivery agent can be held responsible if they are delivered to someone under 18.
I'd guess by prohibition of all blades royal mail can push all the responsibilities onto the seller?
(While doing nothing else and still collecting the postage money)

No longer allowed , most blades are incinerated a still on their plastic handles due to the likelihood to carry communicable diseases & infections ..( remember HIV, hepatis A B C D& E , Prions & BSE ???)

I did eBay that for my Gillette sensor blades , 100 packs blades ... made in Poland .. Two shaves and they were knackered . The latest small batch of them has come from Greece and are substantially much better.
Sod buying one of the latest razors with six or so blades per head at over £10 a pop a pack of blades .. thinking of growing at 73 yrs old for the first time a beard and letting my lass keep it in trim it with our rechargeable electric hair clippers

I have been using Gillette 7o'clock for years but the last load I bought are good for one or two shaves at the most before they become "grabby".
I bought a Wahl mains powered clipper set in my early twenties. Still using it today (in my 50s) and have never changed the cutting blades!

There was and is all sorts of things you're not supposed to carry on buses, one used to be rolls of cine film (cellulose) because of fire hazard.

Make sure you have the correct handle for each blade type (I noticed they seem to have disappeared from ebay. Still at med suppliers and model stores:
