Falklands job

In February I have this to fabricate,using 8mm corten I have ,now I’m confident in my usual method of scaling it 7/7.5:1 but thought is there a modern way of doing this,I’m not techy and imagine I’d draw this to size in about an hour,so @ £40+ vat probably limited,I have an I pad,plus a wife whose slightly more tech y than i.

Apart from the head, it is symmetrical, so you only need to draw half and mirror it. Saved you £20 there.

Does the eagle represent anything (e.g. like the dragon on the Welsh flag)? If so, is there an image of it online?

The modern way would be create it as a vector file (infinitely scalable), make a dxf of it and send it to a laser/plasma/water cutter.

The photo above is not great for anyone here to use you need something straight on and without the reflections of the plastic pouch. Ideally, a scan from a flat bed scanner unless you have a way to put a camera directly above it and square to it.

Take a nice square on photo and use Inkscape to convert to SVG.

Many copiers have the ability to adjust scaling.

Take it to a print shop, get them to scan it a produce as a full scale copy.

Assuming you don't need a Dxf file.

@Agroshield ,as it’s for a regiment,I assume so,it’s to be sited at the port Stanley airbase.
All these other terms I have no idea of,I’ll call a print shop.

The problem is Argentina don’t have any claim to the Falklands, they have never belonged to Argentina, they were empty and settled by the British before Argentina was even a country.
