Thats a bit different, she was not climbing, and was hit by a barber chair event, where the trunk splits, launches itself and lands unpredictably, on your head.Let's be careful out there. This happened near me. A lot of guys wrap chains round diseased ash here now in case they go bang.

Tree surgeon crushed in tragedy at National Trust estate
The partner of a woman who died cutting down a diseased Ash for the National Trust has paid tribute to a 'beautiful soul'.www.kentonline.co.uk
Got to disagree there. I have female friends who are far stronger than me, and weigh a lot less. Low body weight is a massive advantage for a tree climber.Sounds like they should have taken the time to clear the brush around the tree.
Cutting trees on slopes is dangerous work at the best of times. It says they could have used a bigger chainsaw but the weight was a consideration, it has to be asked, could a man have used a bigger saw lower down and prevented the accident?
I'm all for empowering women in trades, but it's simple math, a 6ft bloke weighing 100kg can lift and leverage more weight than a 5'6" lass weighing 70kg

Very nice.
Any chance of a how to?
Nothing too technical I'm afraid , The die was a touch too small so I ground it out and polished it up.How?
where do they sell these? Not made, simply added to. To save fannying around reaching over to the vacuum cleaner to turn it on/off, added a zigbee switch to the mitre saw, & a zigbee plug socket to Eric. Can toggle him from the saw, now.
I've done the same with Horace in the workshop, a while ago. He's controlled by the same switch as the workshop lights & lamps.
Those switches have three independent scenarios you can use. Click, double click & long press, so you can assign a different function to each.

Interested in how you affixed the wheels & what child friendly pain you used .Basic wood bothering today (sorry). I designed these ages ago. Very simple and quick to make. I revisit them occasionally
