Pub washing machine done. Had it apart to fit the drain hose. Found a hair clip wedged in the pump too.

Funny you should say that. Friend was dumping a nice Bosch washing machine as 'not working'. I said I could look at it, but he had already ordered a fresh one and 'she' was expecting it.
Had a shufty and found a coin neatly wedged in the output of the pump. That was it. Worked fine, so told him. Nah, keep it, so I did, put it in our gîte.

When I had the Launderettes it was always the wire from underwired bras that caused issues. These machines have a 'dump valve' where the water flows out very rapidly for the next fill cycle by gravity - no pump. Wire jammed in valve meant it never filled to level and cost a fortune in water and heating !

Just got a message from the pub. The Beko washing machine seems stuck on this. All I did before starting work was turn the dial to I think rinse at the 6 o'clock position and pump the water out. Then unplugged it. It won't move now off this display apparently :

Not sure what that "flower" symbol is...

Pre-wash When “prewash” auxiliary function is selected, prewash symbol will light up to indicate the beginning of prewash step.

Main wash
Main wash symbol will light up to indicate that the main wash cycle has started.

Rinse
Rinse symbol lights up at the beginning of the rinse step.

Softener
Softener symbol lights up at the beginning of softener step.

Spin
Spin symbol will light up at the beginning of the final spin, during “Spin” and “Pump” special programs.

I think as it gets older it's a bit longer than 3 seconds, i think ours is about 10 now and works fine !

The link I put up just above yours suggests it might be an issue with the selector switch. Maybe when I unclipped the control panel I disturbed a connector. The poster there said they'd removed the front panel just like I had.

I just did it and left. I have no clue how to operate them anyway, a dark art / women's work etc

The girl who's it is was out sorting the cows plus she had a rotten cold and I didn't want it!

That's not a flower, it's a Beko symbol for bellend should of tried a full wash program

And when the wires pop out or break, it's a dead bra.

They're not cheap, good bras.
