Wow! You must be straight lining it and being lucky!Diesel doesnt cause any issues for motorbikes in my experience
i can definitely dispute that. the scars and what's left of the bike in my avatar would disagree....To be honest, I wouldnt bother. Diesel doesnt cause any issues for motorbikes in my experience, I wouldnt hesitate to ride through a fresh diesel spill. Engine oil however, does, highly dependant on tyres fitted.
you wouldnt be saying that after seeing a tanker go round a roundabout and drop a load of diesel on the road .a car and a few motorbikes off the roadIf its a residential road, local council. If its main road, county council/highways, although local council will likely send somone to look, possibly cone it off or put dust/sand on it, and bill county council for the work. They will atleast know who to contact.
I work for a local council at the moment.
Note that nothing happens outside the hours of 8am-2pm, and not much inside those hours either...

in fact that's the most insane thing i've ever heard a fellow biker say.
Not at all. See diesel all the time as theres a fuel station right on a roundabout here that is often covered in it. I did 100k+ miles of commuting on my cbr6Wow! You must be straight lining it and being lucky!
I spun my Sierra on a diesel spill at a roundabout that sent me backwards up a duel carriageway.
I agree with you that diesel is not as slippery as engine oil and you can drive through it when you spot it in time, but stating that it doesn't cause any issues for motorbikes is not true. A bit too much lean angle and your down. And I have experience with that.To be honest, I wouldnt bother.
