check the main drain at manhole cover outside might be blocked or backing upwater slow to depart bowl combined with gurgling from shower plug/drain.. tried the normal things and used a 3metre long flexi pipe cleaner but found no real resistance tbh .. Any ideas what i can try next … pipes are all behind tiles etc

We had similar sounding issues, downstairs toilet was backing up and very slow to drain. The backup was caused by water coming from upstairs that couldnt get out, so the bog level rose.
We had a tree root invade the manhole and go up our outlet. A poke with shovel and plenty of water cleared the problem.
