That's what the coiled yellow cord is for, attaches over the front brake lever by the starter as a reminder; but then you know that, right ?

The first thing that popped into my head was some sort of clay pipe breaker? (normally pulled through with a chain on the end and a new pipe behind it, but maybe a different design for going around a cable or something? was clay pipe ever even used as a conduit? other than that no idea
Don't think that's GE as in General Electric as they were normally GEC. Since the lower transfer shows Braintree, Essex and Garage Equipment, that's probably what the GE stands for.

It was in a Skip.
The drain plug is missing as are the plastic covers on the gauges, but plugging it in showed it does pump air.
It was in a small set of buildings were small companies work out off. I did ask if I could have it away and was told yes.

Fbmp - collapsing ladders cheap as the lock on 1 section won’t release & collapse.
Ideal as I’ve been using extending ladders to access my loft and they’re too long to move upstairs easily.
Next question does anybody know how to unstick a lock on McAliistair ladders?

Extend it the full way again and read the destruction manual on how to collapse it. Some of them are different and make sure to nip your hands in the process it's essential with these. I like the healthy curve they have when looking down from above

They have a (hopefully) idiot proof green safe / red unlocked indicator on each catch, the faulty one is locked and showing green so I'm happy its secure - the only fault seems to be that 1 catch is frozen locked.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll be testing them before I trust them but if any "fat bloke" (advised above) wants to volunteer just pm me

I had one of those Abus Granit disk locks thirty (?) years ago, mine did not have the painted shackle though.Yesterday a package arrived with a used disc lock I got from that well known auction site. Unlike the Granit 68 lock I acquired recently, this one actually fits my Honda 750x bike.

I actually suffered very little damage, keeping the bike upright as the wheel had only about a quarter of a rotation before the lock hit a caliper.
If you decide to sell the middle lathe tool in the bottom row (triangular tip) could you let me know what size tips it takes?Dropped into my local Scrapyard today for a mooch, could only stay for 5 mins as they had all kinds of roll on,s getting changed and it was manic...anyway was not fruitless
