Hobsons choice. Maybe Elon is an ok bloke, but there is something I don’t like about him that I haven’t worked out yet.I'd rather have something that worked

Just remember you need to order the ethernet adapter separately as it doesn't come with the router.
I detest bt and openreach.... but that's because they are utterly uselessHobsons choice. Maybe Elon is an ok bloke, but there is something I don’t like about him that I haven’t worked out yet.
I don't need to make the decision since we are on fibre to the house, so maybe I'm saying what I'd like to do rather than what I would do if I had to decide. It's an odd reason to not use a service that works because you don't like the bloke
I seem to remember one of them was quite fetching....That under that pseudo skin he's a reptilian overlord like in V?

I've not used it but a couple of customers got me to put up masts on their houses for proper mounting. When you order It you have to specify the length of cable you recon you'll need from aerial to router, as it comes with pre terminated plugs each end, the aerial end plug is the smallest, but still quite bulky requiring a hole of at least 20mm. The ideal aspect is 100° view of the sky all round. Once connected the receiver is motorized and finds the best direction. Speeds seemed very good 180mb +. One chap is serving his own house plus half a dozen holiday lets, seems very pleased.Anyone used it?*
Looking to move to a very rural location, no phone signal and the neighbour told me the internet is 5mbs on a good day
I need fast internet for work, they will pay the setup cost so not concerned about that

I know Jack shat about mb,s ..I have 900mb fibre to the house but I'm looking to move to a rural place

Is 900mb,s good ??
I don't know if it is available in the area you are going to, but to give you another option, a company in Ripley (Zycomm) do wireless broadband for rural locations.
Snap, my view too, once it all goes voice over IP, the old long copper lines will be a waste of space.I’m just waiting to get out of contract to get starlink
I’m semi rural and it can get as bad as dial up , you complain and it gets better for a week then poor again
The phone line we don’t use could then go as well helping balance the books
I'm fibre to the house with VOIP and thought great I can ditch the copper line and save on line rental, it doesn't work like that, you still have to pay line rental for the fibre cableSnap, my view too, once it all goes voice over IP, the old long copper lines will be a waste of space.
