Today I acquired a Slip roll from my scrappy mate, I borrowed it about ten years ago for a job and cleaned it up then, he didnt want to sell it so its been sitting in his yard ever since, he finally decided to run it in and i happened to pop in just as it had been chucked on the wagon.
So another clean up!

We usually go home on the train after visiting a couple of Liverpool institutions such as the Dispensery and end up dieing for a wee most of the journey home, but trains are getting better, toilets that sometimes work

But, this year we are planning on staying over, maybe the Adelphi. Probably a bit faded compared to it's hay days but beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder and we will have had plenty!

I don't think I'll care after a skinful at the beer festival, it will have to be really bad to upset me

I haven't booked breakfast, just a bed for one night. It's within staggering distance of St George's Halll which was the main criteria

I have several of the blue 50 and 24 drawer storage units from screwfix which are the same Racco 150 units, just a different colour paint and slightly different drawer configuration.
They are excellent for odds and sods. They used to be dirt cheap too, not so much now.

You can buy the drawer dividers separately which are handy for making more efficient use of the space if you only have a few small items per drawer.

Got a pair of "Altrider" brand highway pegs in the post today, another present for my bike. Machined aluminium pegs with steel clamps. These are very nicely made and I'm pleased with the quality, only I notice that there is a little wiggle room when the ball detents engage in the upright stowed position. I think this could contribute to some rattling, so I'm going to surface grind a couple of washers to fit which will take up the slack.
