Pretty much yeah, some birds are quite extreme ( lots of finches are, pheasants etc) whereas others are really difficult to tell apart, eg robinsI'll vouch for that, is that what dimorphism means ?

I was working [ production chief ] at Belfast Pride a couple of Saturdays ago ,,, dont take anything for granted , When I was doing mobile stages for a living I used to provide the production for Belfast Custom Bike Show [ hells angels annual do] one weekend , and Belfast Pride the next weekend , both in the same venue and both on the Saturday , some days it was hard to tell if some of the punters were actually a week early , or a week late ... both were a great day out though.Shirley it's telling males from females, could be hard at an LGTBQ+ crowd, etc, etc....
I would have gone for Chaffinch without reading the whole thread. As far as I'm concerned it's a bird.
Feathery type, flys, etc.
Anyone be more specific please ?
Wife and daughter curious.
Thanks people.
