It looks like an hand grenadeMore of a came home and saw a weird, flint sticking out of the bank where we've dug out to extend the patio:
A quick clean in the sink with the scrubbing brush:
Any thoughts as to what it is? Bone?
Haven't the faintest, but someone at your local museum may be able to shed some light on it or point you in the right direction.More of a came home and saw a weird, flint sticking out of the bank where we've dug out to extend the patio:

No it's a church.
Here's another picture from the same city, I imagine someone here will recognise it straight away.

30 second exposure with the camera propped up on a rock (Hence the ground in the foreground). I know I just said I'm done buying equipment, but this reminds me I want a little 6" tripod I can take anywhere for things like this.
It's cropped btw, I don't have an X-Pan.![]()
68mm Additional to progressor hole saw set as advertised by Matt which comes with 2 adapters for threaded holesaw systems which is well handy and all a good price at 13.50 all in
Don't you know nuffin? that's to let the water out. There seems to be a lack of hull in the back bit there.
Totally. For the extra QC, decent 7mm pilot bit, 2 x adapters and decent 68mm holesaw - no brainerIt was too cheap to not buy, wasn't it. You can barely buy the QC adapter alone, for that price.
The 64mm in the set has gone through best part of 100mm of rail track steel via a pillar drill in separate cuts and is keen as minus a bit of paint!
Will send the pics to my niece... see if her degree was worth itMore of a came home and saw a weird, flint sticking out of the bank where we've dug out to extend the patio:

That is a fabulous find. I would send photos to Safronwalden Museum. They will tell you all about it as they have a superb archive of info.More of a came home and saw a weird, flint sticking out of the bank where we've dug out to extend the patio:
