Someone listed a trolley jack on an FB recycle group last week, I almost didn't ask for it as I've got quite a lot of these smaller trolley jacks, then changed my mind and claimed it. It wasn't until I got it back to the shed that I noticed it's a low-profile one.

A new appreciation for the tensile strength of steel... I reckon I've had my monies worth out of that one...

Hard to tell but the crack runs the length of the weld, maybe 3mm holding it together, was still happily chewing through 25x6 stainless flat bar albeit with a jump when it went over the crack!


Still I may try tig it back together as its still sharp!

Was cutting these down from a length after I'd milled the longer chamfers.

Then they went back in the mill with a stop set to take the short chamfer off.

Today I acquired a dinky 4000amp car/truck battery booster to chuck in the van. Gumph says it will start up to 10l diesels, tried it on a tractor with a flat battery and it wanged that over. Time will tell.

Picked this auction purchase up this morning, Nederman oxy fuel reel, been cursing my oxy setup every time I pull it out as the hose just gets in the way where it is. Saw this on my local agri machinery auction and stuck a bid in, just over 6 quid with the fees... They're over a grand new

Granted it needs new hoses, it's on 6mm oxy acetylene atm and I run propane, my current hoses are 10mm and a bit heavy, so might go for 8mm on this.

This week has been little expensive
Bought this cylinder head for the FIAT 126 TURBO project
300 euros
It's from a fiat panda 30 (2 cylinder 30HP )
Bought because its double ported intake ,34.5 mm intake valves ,30mm exhaust valves
Original 126p and 500 are 30mm intake and 28mm exhaust single port intake 28mm carb .
It's a good starting point for a custom head but requires a better cooling , because they tend to crack between the valves this it's not.
Keeping the engine complete stock just this head should make it 30hp , gaining 8hp from original which is 36.6% more power than stock
I'll do porting job , change exhaust valves maybe because of heat evacuation .
I might initially not modify the engine displacement.

Then this morning I've asked for renting a car for a wedding.
They wants 10k euros caution ,we are considering other options

Then I've bought this 230 euros
It has to be adjusted to my physic few weeks before the wedding cause I want to look great for the occasion
