The chap making sills for my cars has retired, so I thought I'd have a go at making one. This took me longer than I hoped it would, but hopefully if I need to make any more I'll be able to do them more quickly.
It could be a bit better, I call it "stonechip quality" which I hope will be good enough.

Insert 2" with sight glass + second part of triclamp sewn to the beer keg
Extended a weight bar for my daughter's squat rack. Nice to play on my lathe..I've cut the centre piece in half and bored out the ends a little to insert a 300mm section (
+ spigots)
I need to press fit it together then a bit of Tig welding around each joint, which I've v'd a bit.

My "Get-the-toolpost-grinder-out-and-finish-the-ballscrew-project" turned into "Strip-the-toolpost-grinder-and-rebuild-it-before-I-can-finish-the-ballscrew-project." 
I therefore had to make this, to unscrew the bearing caps.
It worked.

The roof bars featured before with there intended load,showing the roof tent that was a big success,maybe too big as it’s slowed an already slow vehicle,can’t recommend this type of accommodation enough though,7 minutes to erect,not much more to dismantle.
Note also the quickly fashioned wind deflector at the front,some left over aluminium from a slaughter house job in 1993!
The two additions survived 1500 miles on a 10 day break in western France.

what a machine!!! absolute beauty!
My new-to me sawbench didn't come with the fence for the sliding table for cross cutting. My old say, the entire trolly lifted off for ripping where it would get in the way. It needs to be fast to remove and maintan square when refitted.
I don't know what the original looked like, but this is my version. It has an M16 bolt through the top, and a slotted flange that allow 2 M8 handles to pull up the flange against a couple of M8 capscrews, that allow you to tweak it for square to the blade. It seems to work well and maintains the square angle when removed and replaced.
Mark 2 will have an ali slotted extrusion that I can use for mounting stops, instead of the steel SHS, and some sort of handle for th eM16 bolt. Since this works well enough, it might take a while...
