My first attempt at collage was an engineering course, spent the first 3 months in the workshop filing a bit of steel perfectly flat,
I asked when we get to play with the lathes and welders etc...
you dont was the answer.
I didnt stay long there!
The first year of my apprenticeship gave a good grounding in all skills, filing, lathes, milling machines, metalwork and welding then specialised in electrical from year 2.




, so went to another builder's supply that was a bit farther away. They only had the 38mm wide size, but the price was reasonable; 90 pence each
