It's surprising how heavy plasterboard is, I loaded 8 sheets on the roof rack of the Surf and thought it flexed a bit to much until I realised that was nearly 1/4 of a ton up there!

It sure is, I got 80 sheets of 12.5mm x 3m delivered (by a friend) and had to unload it and carry it into the house half of which had to go upstairs.It's surprising how heavy plasterboard is, I loaded 8 sheets on the roof rack of the Surf and thought it flexed a bit to much until I realised that was nearly 1/4 of a ton up there!

We got a load of the pink stuff years ago on a road drop...they were 3m sheets as we have high ceilings. After attempting to lift 1 sheet on my own I decided it was a 2 man job!

Yea it's solid stuff...I lined our walls with it...12 years later there's zero cracks and putting up pictures and wall hung cupboards is a breeze.
Only worth doing in a house if you're staying though...lot more cost plus effort.
