I made a simple cutter with a utility knife blade to spiral cut PEX water tubing, always have scraps of that laying around.
This is the one for 3/4" and I used 3/4" EMT conduit, I later made one for 1/2" as well.

I wonder if you could use a screwed cone log splitter to drive the tube using a cordless drill (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354586723132). The tube would be too big for the chuck and would probably slip anyway.

Steal borrow washing machine drain hose and cutting implement if struggling

buy a 10 meter coil of 20mm for about 7 quid and run it over a table saw against the fence done that before

I just split some 10mm down with a stanley knife last time I bought solid and couldn't get the connector through.

For 20mm Screwfix/Toolstation.
