bR39Da: That's where my wife got it from and sent it to me, I just thought it might give someone a laugh here, I wasn't about to spend a lot of time fact checking something like this. The point of this was to just point out the stupidity of what goes on nowadays by people who should know better. I wasn't trying for originality, sorry if you took offence at this. Unfortunately too much of this crap is going on! Whether the pyramids are 2500 or 4500 years old really isn't the issue, that line was just tongue in cheek and most people would realise that.

70's again, from the window behind my lathe at work I watched a team of guys laying large concrete pads with studs in for an obviously large factory to go on. I never saw them even use a tape measure of any sort, but some guy simply poked studs into the concrete while it was setting, I never saw any measuring or fixtures to locate the studs, but when the steelwork arrived it all slotted into place and fitted perfectly.
I'd guess there's not actually 34 ways, just the cover hasn't been placed correctly....

That's known as an "Arm wave" ....where a manager, who doesn't want to spend the time to do it right, will simply arm wave the job changes, and say "Any idiot can see that this will fix it".
