its approx 4x 2.5 foot , slight rust on top but make a good bench/set up table , tops about inch thick , what would be a realistic price?and I am not selling/
thankyou,appreciated250 to about 400 ish ,,, maybe less if its very rusty ,,, but they always seem to be that price ,,
Im after one but shipping to NI kills the deals in England
You would be surprised. A lot of inspection gear is worthless to the owner once out of cert. They just want rid. I paid £82 for a 8'x3' surface table. Right placce, right time.250 to about 400 ish ,,, maybe less if its very rusty ,,, but they always seem to be that price ,,

Ive watched them for a couple of years ,, a nice t slotted mill table is the way to go at that size ,, total win , sometimes slotted surfaces turn up , but they are still cheaper than a weld table , but you will have to drill your own hole pattern for hold down , and often make your own bench / legs set up too ,, but that way you get what you want ,,thankyou, appreciated
hard to get a good earth on a granite table but they are rock solid. You would be surprised. A lot of inspection gear is worthless to the owner once out of cert. They just want rid. I paid £82 for a 8'x3' surface table. Right placce, right time.
There's been a few large Granite tables for peanuts
One about the size the OP mentioned would fit onto a double pallet I'd have thought. I know I shipped a pallet with a load of bits out to Ireland (republic I think) for about £80 via @fizzy. Mind you it was a while ago...250 to about 400 ish ,,, maybe less if its very rusty ,,, but they always seem to be that price ,,

They are good but I'm finding it pretty annoying not having box section around the edges which was easy to clamp to. Tables like what @sako243 has posted only have a small lip around the outside and its as-cast.I did buy a 4x3ft for 32 quid in a auction a few years ago
But more recently the 2 10x4ft ones i bought were £1500 each but over 4 ton in weight each!
The best welding tables you can get in my opinion
Yes I drilled them with 28mm holes to 5micron geometric accuracy..for a welding table conversionThey are good but I'm finding it pretty annoying not having box section around the edges which was easy to clamp to. Still on the lookout for tables like @pressbrake1 had last year with all the holes in them, out of Fords if I remember correctly.
No lip around the edge of mine. There's a 45° bevel on the top edge and then the top is 40mm thick. The edge of the table is about an inch overhanging the cast support framework underneath.Tables like what @sako243 has posted only have a small lip around the outside and its as-cast
No not them ones, the other ones you had, like what Jay with the laser has got.Yes I drilled them with 28mm holes to 5micron geometric accuracy..for a welding table conversion
