You need to look at Daiquiri recipesOur 3 remaining parents are knocking on a bit and they go through the stage of clearing stuff out, on every visit you end up coming back with a car full of useful stuff... among the vaguely worth saving bottles were these, not sure about the 70% proof rum do we think its drinkable or just for rubbing on sore bits??

It will be full of water, probably has never been drained from new!

Are you planning to look inside? Brave man who starts that thing upThat's the worry and the first thing I thought of! He said "Do you really want it as it's really rusty?"
Do a simple hydraulic test on it first. Disconnect pipework, fill with water, if no obvious leaks connect an air line via a regulator, slowly bring the small air gap in the tank up to working pressure (from afar) and close the tap - leave for a while and if no apparent leaks bring up to 150% of working pressure and leave for a few hours. If no leaks it should be safe to use.
(The idea of the water fill is that any burst will only have a very small volume of compressed air to release before the pressure drops dramatically as the water is not able to be compressed.)
