TOTALLY unsuitable for human consumption. As are all dead birds.
Greasy, fatty, tastes like s**t, and smells even worse.

Got another blade to try on the mitre saw. The 24 tooth one supplied with it gives more tear-out on the back edge than I want, so ordered a 40 tooth Sabrecut blade to try. I've been quite impressed with the quality of any other type of blade I've had of theirs. Runs true, nice cut etc. Can't fault it. An added bonus is, (with this being a 210mm blade rather than a 216mm, as came with the saw), the laser guide is actually on the cut line now. It was out by a mm or two before. This is the one I ordered.

Funny how things that look like they’re just occasional tools turn out useful once you own them. Bought these ages ago to get out the **** and I use the bent ones daily.

I bought the Knipex long needle nose pliers thinking they might come in handy sometimes, turns out they're handy all the time. So handy in-fact I'm tempted to buy the bent ones too.

I’ve often toyed with the idea of them.

All the sealey, eBay, factors ones seem to be the same Chinese ****e.

Was looking at a sealey set not long back and the ratchet didn’t even engage properly

I bought a set for about £10 from Europarts. Getting them into position is right faff, but they work very well.

Many years ago I bought a set of 3 scissors from Ikea which are still in use; keeping one pair in the garage. Recently I was doing some CAD (cardboard aided design) work using the scissors however the cardboard was off the double layer variety and the scissors struggled. I thought it was about time to acquire a pair more suited for workshop use hence a pair of Milwaukee from FFX arrived. Also I was using my set of 11SR Vise Grips with swivel tips for a particular job and noticed that all the other grips in this size in my vise grip drawer were of the standard tip variety whereas swivel tips were better for this particular job so I ordered another set along with the scissors. The Ikea scissors weren't totally redundant as I used them to open the Milwaukee packaging...

Came away with random imperial sockets and spanners, really nice imperial socket set, little magnetic pick up, and a REALLY tidy set of steel drawers hardly a mark on the inside. Also some spring clips for the tailgate on the trailer I got yesterday.

Carrying on the theme of trusting suppliers,a place I occasionally buy belts,seals,bearings and sprockets was apologetic as they couldn’t guarantee how quick they’d deliver belts and may even have to post at their expense!
Day after ordering,one of their more regular customers notice my order on their counter and offered to deliver it to me as he’s nearby!

A jsp mask and filters ,thought it was about time for a proper mask rather than throw away's
5 ltr of makita chainsaw chain oil £5 and some wood screws on offer £1 per box ( 100 ) 4 x 40's a common size for me I'll try them in some different timbers if they are any good I'll get more and

from tool station ( in the previous pic ) four bags of M6 x 50 bolts 49p a bag some cheapy hole saws and pilot drills , mine get rammed through all sorts and these last just as well as expensive and finally a bit of electrical flex and lamp holder for me lamp project ( not from tool station ).

I love my Knipex long needle-nose pliers. They're very handy in tons of situations---so much so that I'm thinking about getting a double-jointed, bent-nose Crescent-brand variation to complement them. The double joints can have some advantages in very tight spaces:
