Yes, body is still on the rotisserie requiring quite a bit of work still.
One of the prettiest Triumphs made I think. I remember when I saw one for the first time Mwnt beach car park if I recall..Yeah, and call it Vintage!
Not so much now, That was about 18 years ago when I had just picked it up from the galanizers. It's now underneath this:

Yesterday I acquired a water meter to see how prices compare to the fixed rateable value over the next year or so and today I acquired a failing ballcock valve in the loft header tank so my new meter can now log the water dripping out of the overflow

All things considered, that doesn't look in too bad condition. How's the tailgate? I've just had to give in to rust and repair mine. A lot of sheet metal, welding, grinding and e-coating later and I have a tailgate again!

It's actually not too bad, perhaps I should start a restoration thread. The tailgate is not too bad, there are a couple of areas where the screen rubber seal flange needs some work and the frame has heavy surface rust where the skin folds over.
If yours is too bad it might be worth considering a second hand replacement... I've seen them come up fairly regularly on The Bay.

Mine is all good now and yes, I also had to replace that flange, about three quarters of it in the end. The worst of the corrosion however was on the inside structure. I had mine acid dipped, twice, and then e-coated after repairs so hopefully shouldn't have to worry about it for a good while.
A resto thread would be a great idea. I don't doubt you know exactly what you've let yourself in for but if I can be of any help (tips/advice) having done a full restoration (new sills - inner and outer, front and rear quarters and inner arches, door skins, front edge of the roof and various floor and boot repairs) myself, do let me know.

I had one of those last year - swapped the fill valve in the central heating expansion tank and all was lovely, and I basked in the reduced water bill for the next six months. Then the valve failed in the main cold water tank, and I foolishly ignored it for a few months, until we had that very cold spell before Christmas and the guttering and downpipe froze solid. The second was a little more tricky than the first, but I am already looking forward to the next water bill. The good thing at least is that water isn't all that expensive in the scheme of things.
