I've done a bit of research on the Febest trailing links and found they are made in China so I won't be buying those.
Last thing I want is the rear axle falling off on the motorway!
I'm surprised Roughtrax sell them to be honest, I'll be more careful what I buy there in future! !
I think I'll be refurbishing the original ones with new Nolathane bushes and paint.

Ordered some brake parts today, got a sticking caliper. The question is, how are import taxes being dealt with on orders to Autodoc, does anyone have recent experience?

Paid for DHL express.. They sent Hermes. They also forgot to mention they ship from Germany. Took weeks.

Hmm, not too good, hope the brakes don't overheat too much before I get the parts. I don't really want to get the summer cars out the garage with all the salt on the roads just now.

i think it's the piston as I changed the pads about 6 months ago and all seemed well and it got a good clean up at the time.
It has an e handbrake so I used vag cam to release but it was still tightish, more so than the other side.
Mrs RD just told me that she needs to do. 100 mile trip tomorrow and I can't bring myself to tax her Jag for one day (last day of the month and is currently SORNed) so will send her out in the Merc which is tax exempt
, but hasn't been out in winter for more tha 5 years.

Yes, it's parts for a Golf. Their turn around times seemed to have slipped from pre COVID days.
Time to move to a UK supplier, however prices in the UK tend to be higher but at least you get the product in a couple of days.
