Got this Sip 16mm 12 speed bench drill.
The guy I bought it from said he used it once on a gate building project and it’s sat ever since, apart from some light rust on the pillar which I got off with fine sandpaper it seems very good. He had no idea that the drill speed could be changed so maybe he wasn’t one for reading the instruction manual.
And I forgot to ask him for the Chuck key!

Update on my last post.
Managed to particularly destroy the lathe because iam an idiot. Pallet fell off the hoist so I need to get a new motor and pulley.
Don’t care much because I calculate the risk of screwing such things.

Decent screwdriver, recommended.

I picked this up a while back. Was intrigued as to how they make it fit all 6, 3 sizes of both posidriv and Phillips. It’s not failed me yet, no cam out and fits from sizes 1 to 3 in both patterns. Was 8 quid. Definitely handy to have around.

You just never know where people learned their trade. It could be a hang-on from that. My great grandfather, Greek, lived in Constantinople, learned his trade as an engineer in the dockyards of Sunderland working for the Royal Navy, pre-ww1. He also learned English there, albeit with a mackem accent! over the last week or so

a set of Cornwell extensions in 1/4 flavour and a cornwell 10/11 ring spanner nice quality stuff

some stahlwille uj/ wobble sockets metric 3/8's dr @northwest is to blame for them , a near set of Mac super shallow in 3/8's and some alltrades sockets ( never heard of before ) loo decent quality 1/4 dr in SAE

finally some more alltrades sockets this time 3/8's in SAE the other was gratis fom a job we cleared last week
some sae S-k Wayne spanners mid 60's I think some original moles with curved jaws and a stubbs 1/4" square file.
