Just having a sort out for when it finally arrives. It looks like I’ll have to take the bed off to get it through a doorway - is this a fairly straightforward job?

If by bed you mean the table and not chip tray, yes easy-peasey. Loosen the gib off, take both end pieces off the table, one of them complete with the leadscrew and handle then you won't have to undo the bearing adjusters. Slide the table off the knee.
I don't know if it's metric and if TS changed the bolts, but my E is BSW/BSF for the spanners.

My Tom Senior has metric dials, all the fasteners/threads are imperial.

TS are very easy to disassemble. As you say an adjustable and a few small Imp Allen keys. It can be broken down to 1-2 person manageable chunks.
