Either one would suit, I think. If you could have a quick look (see if it actually exists, and hasn’t been set on fire… no other liability on you) and break it down onto a pallet for collection by @fizzy, that would be very helpful.

I’m also not on facebook (yes, miserable git) and they’re asking for ID to get on, which I don’t like. May be easier to go there as the buyer.

A lot to ask, but please charge as you see fit. I’m a long way away from anything.

your the same as me then dont like there asking for id and many other things

i have an account but i dont use it anymore ( only used it for the children )

huddersfield is a big place and more so if you have to use busses

ive had an issue getting an item already for a member on here where i couldnt get to them as they was more southern huddersfield so was unable to do it

Bit too big, I thought, for the space I have left. Would likely have to go through a smallish doorway.

I may be thinking of moving sometime in the next two years, and have a lot to move already:

350kg Wadkin planer
44” drum sander
Big Wadkin radial arm saw
600kg Cooksley spindle moulder
Startrite table saw
Boxford AUD
Various others that might be liftable into the van.

If they aren’t a good deal, I might be best to wait for the right one.

The trouble I’m having, in contrast to all those machines above (and several more), is that the sellers don’t seem to have the nous to get them put on a pallet. Never had the problem before, only with mills.

A Bridgeport clone with its head down on a palette, will fit in a Sprinter, with 3 to 5 cms to spare.

Measure carefully.

Yes, I can see that, but if you can get your Warco Minor onto the floor for photographs, why can’t you drop it on a pallet? Beyond me.

They actually aren't badly priced as they have the very sought after s type head. It's rare you see them up for sale, especially 2 in the same area.

If you can get it bolted to a pallet I found @fizzy s quote remarkably cheap.

In the end I purchased from a machinery dealer who palletised it for me and got delivery for around £200 (fizzy would have been just over half that) Stockport to Lochgilphead.

More interested in it. There’s quite a few people (mainly Americans) on the tube who use them for cleaning off plasma dross on a large scale but you don’t see them much here so I’ve not had any experience with one or know anyone who has

Yes, a dealer would at least have pallets and stuff.

I like the VM30, but what a bugger that it doesn’t have a quill.

I’m not sure how low the drum will go to accommodate thinner materials, but I’ve done thin (1-2mm?) veneer-type pieces by attaching them to a piece of ply. A very good, steady machine for work like that, but you might need some dust extraction. You certainly do with wood, or the dust clogs the abrasive and gets pressed into the workpiece.
