Last night I picked up 8 pieces of 6mm thick strong clear perspex, each around 40" x 16" off FB Marketplace (& I was passing nearby the seller anyway).
Thinking they'd make some nice strong window panes for a project I'm still mulling over exactly how I'm going to do.
The seller threw in some smaller pieces of the same stuff as well - I'm sure I'll find a use for em

... there is no account for taste (even twice ...)
EDIT: I propose this trophy as a consolation prize/badge of shame for the football team of this country when they start their way home tonight ...

Seems even faster to me considering all the "pothole" coverage in the British media I see.
And then it is being done by a Dutch company
... they already stood alone for a week in Calais or Oostende and waited until they were allowed to cross ...Carsten

The 2 pack wide adjustable spanner’s are £16 a pair, but individually they are £20 odd?
The gorilla bar was also on offer at 98p, and the dinky Swedish pipe wrench is £3 in case you need something to get free postage!

Got a new lamp shade off amazon, unique construction as it arrived flat packed, its laser cut ply frame with ash veneers. I quite like it!
Two problems it doesnt let a great amount of light out, will need a higher power bulb. I removed the top row of veneer I think helps. Adds a lot of warmth such that one might want a cold white temp bulb to counter that, with a 2700c bulb its a bit excessive!
From where we sit, we can see the bulb through the gap so I might shorten/extend the cable.

The lamp looks good ...
... but I wouldn't know if I would want a shadow in the shape of a German Iron Cross on the ceiling ...
The spacing of the bulb in the first picture was less suspect ...
