No claim Andrew, just patch it up and sell it on. Because it's only used commuting in and out of city in rush hour traffic and because I can't actually use commuting for insurance it has to be business use, the excess and loadings are already high. If I made a claim the excess, loss of NCD, insurance loadings would come to more than the loss in value from the damage, so I just have to suck it up.
Today I aquired a generator - 15kVa 3phase. The electrician recently completed a connection to the switch board with a transfer switch, so now I can keep the business office (official reason for purchase), house and water bore pump all running.
It also came with a free Lincoln Electric welder and auto dark helmet. I doan't actually need another welder, but, "free" :-).
Still sitting in the workshop on the pallet. Damn work getting in the way again.

I'm not generally too sentimental but brought these back from my Mum & Dad's today. I remember being fascinated by Mum pouring the cream over the back of a spoon so it floated. 40 or 50 years ago she brought a set of these back from Limerick where she was born. These are all that remain. That and the taste of whiskey which I never really liked back then. Reckon I might like it now...

They both have their place, there's some god awful Whisky and great Whiskey (and vice versa.)
