Thanks , just I've been after some semi deep sockets for a while and boxo do a set at a reasonable price ( not the re morgage you house price of some ) but I've never used / bought any of their stuff before . Just for home not trade I'll give em a try then .

I bought a lot of Boxo Gear a few years ago .
Been very good in constant use .
Now they are resting as I rarely get to use them .

I’m inclined to agree. Some of the stuff looks very generic; I presume it’s all made in Taiwan (not necessarily a bad thing I should add)?
At those prices I can’t see any compelling reason to buy it, I’d rather buy a European brand personally.

Up date some of the sockets arrived today ( 3/8 semi deep ) and I'm quite happy with them .
the finish is pretty good , the recess for the nut/bolt doesn't go right to the bottom which I like . My only minor moan would be the knurling could be a little deeper / sharper not that you couldn't grip them with oily fingers . I will be buying some more as I don't think I'll be wearing them out . Even the foam is nice shame I won't be using it , a full set of 15 8-21mm for £38 time will tell .

Bet the first one you need will be 22mm! And the 10 will disappear!
I looked carefully at these when I was at the classic car show NEC earlier in the year. Spent over an hour at the stand looking at the range on display.
Very shiny but no demo of strength. I asked about this cos I can abuse tools when needed. Nothing available.
Ratchets felt notchy and like they wouldn’t stand the test of time. By comparison, I have a SnapOn long 1/2” drive one which is way smoother. That has 7 ratchet arms compared to 3 in the Boxo.
As for screwdrivers, I wouldn’t swap my Wera ones for Boxo, no comparison.
Overall I would say they are probably on a par with Halfords Pro but a lot more money.
Toolboxes were not cheap but nowhere near SnapOn prices, the quality felt more like Sealey. Ok but not smooth running drawers really.
I was impressed enough to leave well alone.
