Our local postman is forever delivering other peoples mail to us, never had a problem when he is on holiday . I once had a letter delivered to my business address which was in Milton , Cambridge, it was addressed to someone in Singapore!

recently it seemed to affect just one supplier delivering via Royal Mail as we normally get our mail.
Tracking showed a jiffy bag delivered about 150yards up the road, shipper said please check so I hoofed up and down the road knocking on doors but nobody had seen it
After a week a neighbour from the opposite direction brought it round having found it in their box. Seems even their gps doesn't work

Again my CCTV system is being down laoded and given too my two neighbours.
Why?
Today is bin day. My neighbours and my self put out our bins out side my house. The dust men like it, as it makes collecting them easy and the wagon can then back down to road.
Today is alll 3 bins.
Both neighbours have asked to look at the CCTV, as they have had a card from the post person, saying.
No one home, package left in Blue bin.
One neighbour was in.
They have a copy of the cameras, that look onto the bins.
Yes he did.
3 parcils into a blue bin.
Why?

Stupid question but I get this all the time from our customers?
Signed For provides a signature on delivery only. Special Delivery requires a signature every time it changes hands. There are others but that’s the only two I use.

I ordered a new Kenwood pasta attachment on eBay 10.00am on Monday and it was here less than 24 hours later delivered by the local postie. I had checked the tracking and it said "dispatched, we will notify you when your parcel has been delivered." and they did but I was one step ahead as I already knew

Our posties will collect anything at no extra charge, though you do have to put a clothes peg on the letter box to let them know something’s there for them

When we moved here permanently Mme postie made bit of a ceremony of handing me a plastic clothes peg for this purpose and explained its use.

2 out of 3 posties who do my neighbour hood are good. One is only good to convert O2 into CO2.
The local sorting office is getting better, they no longer use Covid as an excuse.
Recently I set out 14 packages, 2 did not arrive, one was to a forum member.
One was to Belfast, oh well.
Next one I sent to my friend in Belfast as been dosed withs ecuity dye. It will not wash off, you need the removal agent. Hope he does not go through a secuity check, in the next 52 weeks.

I don't think covid is just an excuse. It's everywhere. I finally succumbed a few weeks ago and it knocked me on my **** for a week. I know plenty of other people who've had it recently too .

It’s rife with us. We’ve escaped it but plenty are getting it. Large gatherings are the issue here
