I have seen that video, Tips from a shipwright, It wasnt a small blade either about 7", using it vertically overhead to cut planks out of an old trawler, one twist or hit an old spike & you are going to get the mother of all kickbacks.On a boat resto vid, I saw the hero using a tipped wood blade in an angle grinder, that did make me wonder... Had the odd touch with abrasive discs, no prob. But a tipped wood blade is a bit scarey.
I stopped watching that guys channel after that, he might be a good chippy but showing working practices like that is tantamount to encouraging them, Someone with less skill or experience will have a go & that seems a recipe for a darwin award to me.
