Well, I identified the copper part, the rivet - as you wrote.
The question was about the pulling bit, that can't be copper, it wouldn't pull thru.

Bronze and copper have an electrochemical potential of 0.46V to each other.
This should be reasonably corrosion tolerant.
Copper to brass would be better, only 0.12V, but copper to steel/iron would be much worse 0.78V, especially if the steel were galvanized 1.1V.

The compound should electrochemically be relatively stable on its own - at least in the absence of salt water.

24v PSU was dead on arrival unfortunately.

Powered it up with a 19v laptop supply to test.

Will wait out for a new supply before testing further.

Once I have il strip down and locktight the bolts.

I just found this thread and it seems to have been written for me!
I work for a large Housing Association and we have some large skips in the yard. I'm a bit of a 'Stig of the dump' and can't help myself!
So from memory:
Multiple CO2 full extinguisher bottles.
Multiple propane and butane bottles some full!
Yellow gas bottles for hand torch, many with gas still.
Bench grinder with broken switch, now my electrode grinder!
Grinder yesterday with stuck switch fixed in seconds.
Bosch professional jig saw linked out speed control works perfect!
As many round LED lights as anyone could ever use!
Amazing amount of paint, guys do one job and ditch the rest I'm building a house so all is welcome.
Dozens of other odds and sods.
I am Stig.
