I test drove the MG ZS...that has great range. Although cranking up the heating and the heated seats knocked 60 miles off the range on my test drive. I would have bought it...but the passenger seat it turns out isn't height adjustable...so every time the missus drives I'd have my head touching the roof!!

I had an MG ZS although I don't think that's model you're on about.

I mostly get it from a 5.7l towing a one tonne trailer And that's with the temptation of open windows on B-roads . . .

On cruise control on long runs it gets a bit more.

Yep, just do some serious dieting or work harder for the fuel consumption

Definitely doesn't need an Audi S-line seat - my boss has had a couple of S-line Audi's and I've never been in a passenger seat that causes such numb-bum in such a quick time, and I include that crappy folding passenger seat that used to come with some option of the original Transit Connects!

Volvo seats are amazing...200 miles and no fidgeting about either. On a long run it's more comfortable than my 2019 Tucson!

Yea the MG ZS was their EV...I quite liked it. Was just about to order one when I enquired about the passenger seat that I couldn't figure out. Glad I asked...shame as it ruined an otherwise sensible buy.

I'm biased. We have a MKI Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi that the other year I did just over 1000 miles in 3 days whilst son did the Three Peaks. No aches and pains plus amazing economy.

I'm trying to work out how you managed 1000miles doing the three peaks?
Do you mean Snowdon, Scafell and Nevis?
(Rather than Ingleborough, Whernside, and Penyghent?)
