The OP is not complaining, he is just questioning the price increase for the less than 10%increase in length

i know - that's why I didn't "reply" to them.

It was the other complaints that were posted I was commenting on . . . when common sense would indicate that while your over-long box would fit inside the test box at some silly angle, it is unlikely to pass through the automated system at that angle of dangle - but when it gets lost, bent in two, crushed, distorted, chucked into the corner with the other irritating parcels until there is time to sort it, guess who will be complaining . . .

We had a customer send us in to a Parcel Force depot to collect some tyres. 31kg each. 1kg over they refused to move them. I spoke to the depot manager. He said the union rep had spotted them. The union really runs Parcel Force!

Yeah - but when you book a job for one pallet cube . . how far over do you let me overhang my gearbox/mill/collection of old tyres?

And who gets blamed when a van is pulled over, and its full of "30kg" parcels, but each one weighs 31kg . . . and its overweight . . . ?

I wouldn’t worry about parcels being chucked over a gate or fence. A parcel delivery van over took me today, I wasn’t hanging about neither were they. They caught me up , flung their van over onto the other side of the road, it rocked viciously a couple of times , then they yanked it back into our lane, same rocking again. I guess any parcels will have had a very rough time in the back of that van. This all happen over 70mph.

I was standing in outside a garage on a small ind. estate today, waiting for a car to be mot’d. DPD shot through the site on the phone, stopping at the unit next door. Out came the parcel, covered in tape marked “fragile do not drop” it landed with a crash from about 2 feet, then another one dropped on top. It looked to me that it was done on purpose.

I get bird seed like that, except it's advertised as a 20kg. First time it was in a box, second time it was in a heavy duty polythene bag, courier clocked it was 2 x 12.5 kg bags and went absolutely ape - van was probably well over weight.

You think Amazon couriers are bad? well they are and this is the proof. My pal has the contract for fabrication at the local Amazon depot. These are the "guides" for the drivers to reverse into the bays, so they reverse in catch the end of the guide then try to rip them off the wall as they drive off. The yellow one we welded the edge of the bent side to the bench, got the hot axe on it and used it's mass to bend it somewhere near:

You are not wrong, I had a trailer on the other week and someone asked, "what will you do if you need to turn around?" The idea that I could reverse the trailer up was totally alien to them.

. ordered 2x no special flourescent tubes 3 weeks ago of internet and not received . tracking order said they were in there depot 2 weeks ago . rang the seller up yesterday and he would send another 2 out . my hermes rang me saying they had them but were in kit form bust so much for packaging saying fragile
