After winning the Bester 190C for the school just before Christmas, my powers of persuasion worked on the Rector (Scots for headmaster, or headmistress in my case) and she agreed to stump up for the shielding gas.
This morning an E33 bottle of Argoshield Light turned up, regulator on the way. Managed to get a large discount on delivery charge and a smaller discount on the expensive EVOS regulator needed.
Once all set up I can give the welding bench a good grind back to shiny and get rid of all the spatter from years of fluxcore.

You generally can't go wrong with Knipex pliers.
If I buy a pair of pliers as new, then only from them.
I carry these two around in my pocket right now.

I have the same little snips, great for cable ties and fine cable. I have a pair of cobra grips too and they're also a nice tool.You generally can't go wrong with Knipex pliers.

Note that these little snips are also available in stainless steel. At some point I got tired of others always breaking off one of the tips - because I always had one with me - if they wanted to cut off too strong material right at the front. That hasn't happened since.
My older son always has a 125 Cobra in his pocket that I gave him, and since I don't get on so well with the knob, I have the old-fashioned model with me - but Cobra with its fine detent is clearly superior.

that’s three. The point of this post is that I found them all stuck under lorries. I got thinking after I found this one just now and realised I’ve not found any other brands.
Might say something about them!
This lorry has just run up from Bristol. Where it was bought. Came the long way up via scrabster so if I’m ever in the need for another light I’ll look at these
